City Hotel *** Dalmatinova 15, tel: (+386)1/234 91 30, fax: (+386)1/234 91 40. Modest downtown hotel with 108 rooms, conveniently close to everything. Currently undergoing some renovation work.

Austria Trend Hotel **** Dunajska 154, tel: (+386)1/588 25 10, fax: (+386)1/588 25 99. High-tech luxury business hotel in the norther business corridor of the city. Also has a full-service indoor spa and casino.

Hotel Emonec ** Wolfova 12, tel: (+386)1/200 15 20, fax: (+386)1/200 12 51. Small, conveniently located hotel just steps away from Ljubljana's Prešeren square. Free internet/wifi available. 

Hotel Lev ***** Vošnjakova 1, tel: (+386)1/433 21 55, fax: (+386)1/434 33 50. Recently renovated to meet Intercontinental's standards (but no longer an Intercontinental affiliate), the Lev is located next to Tivoli Park on the northwestern corner of the city center. 

Hotel Mons **** Pot za Brdom 55, tel: (+386)1/470 27 00, fax: (+386)1/470 27 08. Four-star, ultra-modern designer hotel located in a woody area on the western outskirts of the city. Designed by the highly acclaimed architect Boris Podrecca. 

Hotel Union (Executive) **** Miklošičeva 1, tel: (+386)1/308 12 70, fax: (+386)1/308 10 15. Ljubljana's most elegant hotel, housed in a fine Art Nouveau building just steps away from the main city square. Frequented by many diplomats and VIPs over the years.

Hotel Union (Business) **** Miklošičeva 3, tel: (+386)1/308 11 70, fax: (+386)1/308 19 13. Modern-looking hotel, recently renovated, located right next door to the Grand Hotel Union and owned by the same management.

Hotel Union (Garni) **** Miklošičeva 9, tel: (+386)1/308 43 00, fax: (+386)1/230 11 81. Modern, rather Teutonic hotel with instant access to the train and bus stations.

Hotel Park ** Tabor 9, tel: (+386)1/433 13 06, 232 13 98, fax: (+386)1/433 05 46. Big but friendly no-frills hotel with easy access to the city center. Offers a variety of 2-star, 1-star and no-star rooms.

Hotel Slon Best Western **** Slovenska 34, tel: (+386)1/470 11 00, fax: (+386)1/257 71 64. Very central, 500-year-old location on Ljubljana's main drag, with several in-house restaurants and cafes.

M Hotel *** Derčeva 4, tel: (+386)1/513 70 00, fax: (+386)1/519 30 48.  High-rise hotel in the northwest suburb of Šiška with a popular rock club in its basement.

Ljubljana Resort *** Dunajska 270, Ježica, tel: (+386)1/568 39 13, fax: (+386)1/568 39 12. Newly renovated complex with 62 rooms located next to a popular water park, camp site and recreational area at the northern outskirts of the city.

BIT Center * Litijska 57, tel: (+386)1/548 00 55, fax: (+386)1/548 00 56. Footlocker-sized rooms at a big fitness center 10 minutes' drive east of downtown.

Celica Metelkova 8, tel: (+386)1/430 18 90. Perhaps Ljubljana's most colorful form of accomodation, Celica is actually a renovated former army prison. Every room is uniquely designed and decorated, but all have one distinguishing feature in common...the original prison bars!
